The Downward Spiral
By Wyatt Earp | February 21, 2012
You probably already heard this, because I assume it was the top story on all the major networks, but Barack Hussein Obama’s poll numbers are now in George Walker Bush territory.
You know, that idiot from Texas who the current president blames for all of his problems? Yeah, that guy.
A poll from PPP – hardly a conservative polling agency – actually shows Obama behind GWB when that net loss is considered.
The liberal Public Policy Polling organization asked the public “Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of” each president by name ahead of George Washington’s Birthday — or as it is more commonly referred to as Presidents Day. When it comes to our current president and his predecessor, George Walker Bush beats Barack Obama.
The poll showed 45% now have a favorable opinion of Bush 43, while 46% have an unfavorable opinion. That’s a net of minus 1. The poll showed 46% now have a favorable opinion of Obama, while 49% have an unfavorable opinion. That’s a net of minus 3.
The biggest difference is race. Among blacks, 82% have a favorable opinion of Obama while 17% have an unfavorable opinion — a net of 65 favorable. Among whites, the numbers are 40% favorable, 55% unfavorable — a net of minus 15.
Obama could nuke downtown Detroit and blacks would still vote for him. The numbers fall within the margin of error, but it’s still a referendum on this president.

I am taking classes at a local university, and a liberal idiot classmate of mine was giving a presentation (they call them “group projects” but I just call them torture) on healthcare and technology.
He said isn’t it a great thing that Obama has mandated this and that with his health plan, but then he mentioned five minutes later that the same things had been proposed by George Bush back in 2006, and how horrible it was that those things were proposed. Oh, and he referred to him as “King George.”
I texted a classmate, “So is this Bush or Obama’s fault?” He replied with, “It depends on the outcome. If it goes well, Obama will take credit, if it doesn’t then it will be Bush’s fault.” Too true.
I doubt black voter turnout is going to be as great this November as it was 4 years ago. Fifty percent unemployment for black men under 30 [IIRC] does that.
“Among blacks, 82% have a favorable opinion of Obama while 17% have an unfavorable opinion”
Now THAT is of more than passing interest. IIRC, in the 2008 election some 93% of blacks voters cast their ballots for Obama.
So Obama is down some 11 points AMONG BLACK voters this time around.
As andycanuck said, over a 50% unemployment rate among black men under 30 will do that. In fact, the unemployment rate for ALL blacks, men and women in all age groups, is more than double what it was when Obama became President.
Add the above comments to gasoline hitting $4 and more a gallon in what is not even the peak summer driving season (O’bammy said he wanted higher gas prices) and I think that you are looking at a one term president. WOO HOO!!!!
Hell.. if he nukes downtown Detroit, I’d vote for him!

Speaking of NUKES…and DETROIT…you might want to read THURSDAY’S post (23 February) on my blog…some sobering FACTS and pictures there.
We think alike…must be the “philly connection”.
Roll safe.
