Montana Man’s Bucket List Is Rather Odd

By Wyatt Earp | February 5, 2012

Most people have a “bucket list.” A list of things they want to do before they die. The top item on my list is to get published, but that’s probably never happening. John C. Hughes, however, had something different on his list.

55-year-old John C. Hughes followed a patrol car for seven blocks early Thursday before pulling his SUV around and taking off at speeds of up to 70 mph. Officers say the Butte man was driving faster than 100 mph on an interstate toward Rocker, Montana.

Officers laid out a spiked strip to flatten the tires on the SUV. A report says Hughes told officers he “just always wanted” to see what it would be like to be in a police chase. Officers say Hughes had not been drinking.

Ironically, Hughes probably fulfilled an item on a few Montana cops’ lists, too.

Come on it’s Montana. I am surprised the cop even noticed he was going 100 mph on the Interstate. He must have flipped him off or something to start the pursuit.

  2. Idiot. He could have caused someone else to check out early before they finished their list too.

Wonder if kissing pavement was on the list too. Two birds with one stone!

    ya gotta follow your dreams!

    Ingineer66 – Good point. It’s not exactly South-Central L.A.

Smite – Or getting tased in the junk?

Dr. Evil – Yours, of course, is world domination. Or to be dominated by the women of the world.
