  1. Black Orchid says:

Are you sick? I haven’t been on Twitter today

I hope you’re okay, feeling better, it’s not too serious?

  2. Wyatt Earp says:

Orchid – Dealing with cellulitis again. Fever of 102.9 yesterday, and my leg is swollen from the virus. It’s a nightmare, but I’ve had it dozens of times before. It’s why i have to take antibiotics every day . . . forever.

Sasquatch – Congratulations! I know it’s been a long time coming!

  5. Loaded Dice in Vegas says:

I remember the “Miracle on Ice” and know exactly where I was and who I was with (my wife).

    That was a good day……….

  6. Sully says:

Man, that last 30 seconds took forever… Thank you Herb Brooks.

    Wyatt:
Not to worry…you made up for it here NICELY!!!

(and still one helluva VICTORY…even after all this time)

    Roll safe.

  9. RogerDee says:

Another one of those “Where were you” moments.

  10. bob (either orr) says:

Ditto, Loaded Dice. Her hearing has never been the same. (Nor has mine since Penn State beat Georgia for the 1982 national title).
And yeah, Wyatt, I hear ya about being sick. I got the walkin’ pneumonia and the Obama gas price blues.

  11. Wyatt Earp says:

LDIV – I was camping in upstate PA with the Cub Scouts, listining to the game on one of the first set of headphone radios. I was rebroadcasting the game as I was listening to it.

Sully – Ditto. Still gives me chills watching it.

    Rick – Thanks.

Dr. Evil – Today is a better day. I’m at work and slept pretty well last night.

Bob G. – And they got the best goalie in the world (Vladislav Tretiak) benched.

    Roger – Most people remember.

Bob – Someone played a clip of Obama in the Bush years claiming the president is to blame for the high gas prices. When will he be blaming himself?

  12. JT says:

When will he be blaming himself?

    When cows give good beer.
