Anyone Want To Buy A Russian Rifle?
By Wyatt Earp | January 17, 2012

They’ve never been fired and only dropped once!
A Russian villager discovered a stockpile of Kalashnikov assault rifles hidden in the wooden crates he bought for $15 from a stranger to use as fuel for his winter stove. A total of 79 guns and 253 cartridges were stuffed in more than 60 wooden boxes bought by a resident of the village of Sovkhozny in Udmurtia.
The 57-year old local resident said he bought them from a random truck driver for 500 roubles ($15.81) to heat his home. The fully functional rifles, produced in 1959-1960, were on their way to a recycling plant from Izhmash, one of the country’s oldest arms manufacturing plants, when they wound up in the man’s possession.
Hey comrade, if you want to sell one, I can go as high as 1,000 roubles. Call me!

I wouldn’t mind picking up one (or 79) for that price!
Hell, used ones in bad condition go for $350+ around here. Where do I sign up for this program?
What’s Russian for Ebay?
Rob – I’d be happy with one at that price. I’m not greedy.
Ranba – The line forms behind me!
John D. – магазин (At least that’s Russian for “store.”)
Yeah, that’s one way to heat your home.
Wyatt:
Da…we ken use dem to protect our nuclear WESSELS…lol.
Not to mention, I could DEFINITELY heat up some homes in MY part of the Fort Wayne ghettohood…
(be a lot better than having them use a stove to heat their hovel, burning it to the ground in the process)
Have to admit, there’s some CACHE…I mean CASH to be made there.
Roll safe.
But if these are Russian Army pieces they are fully automatic and, unless things have changed, are not legal without the required fed stamps and the bat boys take a dim view of this matter.
Right now Eric Holder is scratching his head, wondering what happened to that Russian shipment in Fast and Furious.
Smite – And make it smell like cordite.
Bob G. – Heat up the drug corners instead.
Ceefour – Yeah, lousy over-officious bastards!
Jon – Yeah, I think we found it.
Hm… Old ‘original’ AK? I might even be interested in one of them…
Old NFO – Next time you’re in the land of the Rus, pick up a few. I’m good for the money.
