The Department of Health and Human Services is trying out a to promote “feel-good” stories about its Health Care Reform plan, aka Obamacare.
HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius apparently believes Obamacare is still popular and people are excited for its implementation.
“This month, we’re highlighting the many reasons to be thankful for these new benefits. So we put out the call asking you to give us a few examples about the new health care benefits you’re thankful for, and share stories about how you’ve been helped by the law. Using the hashtag #ThanksHCR”
You can see where this is going, right?
Yeah, it completely backfired.
We have seen this administration employ this tactic with disastrous results before with the hashtags #AttackWatch and #WeCantWait, and we are starting to see a similar result with #ThanksHCR
“I can no longer use my medical FSA to purchase OTC meds #ThanksHCR #tcot”
“I like the Health Care insurance I had, but it is no longer available #ThanksHCR #tcot”
“Obamacare for advanced neurosurgical care, if you’re over 70 and you come into an emergency room, you’ll only get “comfort care” #ThanksHCR”
I’m sorry, but that’s just funny – mostly because those tweets are true.

“Your health care costs will not increase”. LIE! My company provided benefits doubled in cost this year alone. I can’t wait to see it hit the stratosphere next year. This is all part of the communist puppet’s mission to collapse the United States, and by default, the world economies. This is preplanned and proceeding perfectly.

One of my friends posted about his discontent over his employer’s insurance changes to start bringing them in-line with the Obamacare mandates on the official White House facebook page. Got buried pretty quick and he got a notification about spam and if he does it again he’s banned.
Still, he’s better off than the guys I know working retail. A lot of them already have or are looking at a total loss of insurance, since it’s cheaper for the bigger chains to just dump everyone’s coverage, tell them to get on medicare/medicaid, and pay the fine/tax/whatever-they’re-defining-it-as-now. Whoever could have predicted THAT would happen ?
