MSNBC Hits Bottom, Digs
By Wyatt Earp | September 26, 2011
Thomas Roberts, one of Al Sharpton’s co-workers, thinks every GOP presidential candidate would prefer to go back to the halcyon days “when slavery was cool.”
Openly gay MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts has condemned the GOP presidential hopefuls, saying they would prefer a time ‘when slavery was cool’. His words came after some members of the audience at the recent Republican debate booed a gay soldier for asking a question about the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell law.
Mr Roberts called the moment ‘strange,’ and noted that none of the candidates or anyone in the audience praised the soldier for his service.
MSNBC is trying to portray itself as pro-troops now? Bawahahahahaha!
It’s laughable how the MSM is completely misrepresenting the boos. It was maybe two or three people in an audience of hundreds. But yeah, every single person in the auditorium hates our servicemen and women.
Roberts naturally condemned Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann – two candidates that have ZERO chance at winning the nomination. But hey, their views must be shared by every candidate and every Republican right, Tommy?
But Mr Roberts did not like Mr Santorum referring to the lifting of the ban on openly gay soldiers as ‘social experimentation’.
He said: ‘I get out of all of these things that many of these candidates would rather take legislation to build a time machine and go back in time to where we had no women voting, slavery was cool.’
Wait; slavery isn’t cool anymore? Dude, it’s free labor!

If Obama grew batwings and spewed pea soup out of his mouth, the MessNBC would tell everyone it’s just a minor cold.

Hey lissen buddy, slavery WAS cool… Back when Democrats were the slave-owners…

Wyatt, slavery is only cool when it’s imposed for your own good…by Democrats….voting on bills that are thousands of pages long and have to be passed to know what’s in them. Like how I got a private student loan so I wouldn’t be in the “if you fail to pay, we put you in the peace corps for 10 years” program. Then they bought out the student loan industry with Obamacare, and my loan was one of the lucky first conversions and now my minimum payment is doubled AND if I fail to pay I get auto-deported to whatever place they decide to throw me in for 10 years. They sent a thing a month after taking over saying I could defer payment, and I asked for a return to original rate….they reduced it to twice original from triple original.
The irony is, I was actually considering doing something like Peace Corps for a year or two, until it became a 10 year draft proviso to my loan without my input on the matter. Now they can all go choke on a dick as far as I’m concerned.
Also, haven’t paid attention to MSNBC since about the 3rd time they reported my friend’s unit wiped out in Iraq. Usually I was talking to said friend while they reported his whole unit dead, and usually the worst casualty was something like a guy got a bruise from diving for cover too hard. Used to switch between them CNN and Fox since they were clustered on my cable bundle.

Ferrell – They had little credibility before hiring Sharpton. After? Zero.
Richard – People forget that Southern Democrats were dead set against the Civil Rights Act.
Ranba – I love how they decry the “partisanship” of FOXNews. Hypocrites much?

Okay! If they want to go back that far it should be noted that the K.K.K. was the “defacto terror wing” of the southern “Democratic” party at the time and that most southerners voted democrat and not for the Whig or the budding Republican party. McClellan who ran against old Abe, wanted to end the war immediately and give the southern states their freedom and their own nation if elected, a very liberal mindset back then.
We can also go back further and point out that a majority of the then budding Americans still supported George the III. It was the hard working American in a land of opportunity who wanted to keep from spending his hard earned money on taxes to a greedy wasteful England and lunatic king who was the minority (not the liberal “We Love George” crowd) that initiated the rebellion.
The same type of hard working American who over 200 years later, is still fighting the mooching traitors, only this time they aren’t foreign. I love it when clueless
media mongrels who are brain dead regarding history start pointing out things which accent their ignorance.
And speaking of the past why doesn’t at least one of the
candidates on the right just slam their fist on the podium and yell..”You Sir are a liar!!” and show some guts, and then tell them to meet him , ‘with’ their seconds at a field at dawn. Thats what they did in the old days, hell, I’d want Andy Jackson as my second.

Wow, Wyatt, you’re watching MSNBC now? That’s like a 20% increase in viewership for them.

“Hits bottom?” MSNBC started at the bottom, and still finds way to lower the bar for journalism on a weekly – at least – basis.
Only difference is that they’ve traded in their shovels – and maybe their Ditch Witch – for a D9 Cat to help them dig faster.

Go home, sit down at the dinner table, turn on MSLSD and PRESTO, ” Dinner with Schmucks”. Now THAT’s a diet.
