Prayers Please!
By Wyatt Earp | November 16, 2010
I just found out that one of our favorite family members – Cousin Barbara – was rushed to the hospital after suffering a subdural hematoma. She is in a coma, on a ventilator, and will be airlifted to a brain specialist in Daytona Beach later today. The missus tells me the prognosis does not look good.
She and her husband Grant were just married a few weeks ago, and we gladly loaded up the family to make the proceedings in New York. Barbara and Grant are two of the best people you would ever want to meet, and we would do anything for them. To be honest, we’re all really freaking out about this.
Please, I beg of you, send all of your prayers her way, and keep Grant in your thoughts.

Wyatt, prayers aren’t exactly my forte (ya know, being evil and all) but I shall say something to the big guy/gal in the clouds. Hope she’ll be ok.

Thank you, everyone. That photo is from Kyle’s Communion party last year. Barbara came up from Florida – from Florida! – to be there for my son. It’s just the type of remarkable person she is.

Well it’s been a while since I’ve prayed for anyone besides myself.
Coincidently, Our Lady at Fatima reportedly told us to pray for those who needed our intervention more than we did. In other words, prey for those who need more than we ourselves need.
Hail Mary full of grace, the lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, prey for us sinners and most of all those who need your intercession more than we ourselves need.
Now, and at the hour of our death…
Amen
