It’s College Football Season!

And the babes are out in full force.
My Michigan Wolverines won yesterday – okay, it was against freakin’ Connecticut – but it’s a good start to the season. Why Division I teams schedule such blowout-worthy games early on is beyond me, but it is a tradition that cannot end soon enough. Next week, the Wolverines play the only team I hate more than Penn State: Notre Dame.
And yes, I realize it is blasphemy to see an Ohio State fan and a Michigan fan in the same photo, but hotness trumps college loyalties. Besides, they probably had a sexy little cat-fight afterward. Yum!

Wow, excellent photo selection today. And I guess beating UConn is better than losing to Appalachian State to start a season. I guess that is like Cal crushing Davis 52-3 yesterday. But Davis did beat Stanford a couple of years ago so anything can happen.

“My” Wolverines?
Two words for ya- Appalachian State

I agree on ND. But the household is a Penn State household (one alumna, two current students) and if dad hadn’t gotten sick, I would have gone to Michigan State. So we’ll have to agree to disagree on college football loyalties.

At least UConn is a Div 1-A School. I can’t stand when the big boys (like Penn State) pad their non-conference games with 1-AA and Div 2 schools! FWIW, I STILL think the NCAA, if it had any balls, should mandate all 11 1-A conferences BCS-eligible and make a schedule 2/3 in-conference, 1/3 cross-country (i.e Big 10 vs WAC, ACC vs Pac-10, etc).

GroovyVic – Shut up! S-H-U-T!!!
Ingineer66 – They really need to do away with these overmatched games. The 50-point spreads are ridiculous.
Fenway – A thing of the past, chief. Like when the Bruins were good. Heh.
Bob – I don’t agree to that! Heh. I can’t stand Penn State, primarily because my wife’s family are Penn State people. *spit*
B.A. – College football has its problems. A lot of them. I like some of those solutions, though.
