A British girl inadvertently pulled off the prank of a lifetime when she played dead in the street as a Google Street View car passed. Google captured the image of the “body” and posted it on the ‘net.

Personally, I think this is the funniest thing I have ever seen. But .

It is a suburban scene much like millions of others on Google’s Street View site… apart from one chilling addition. Lying face down on the pavement, her shoe inches away in the gutter, is the body of a young girl.

Anxious residents browsing their on-screen neighbourhood contacted Google about the image fearing they had chanced on a murder scene. Then the truth emerged. The ‘body’ belonged to ten-year-old Azura Beebeejaun who has revealed she was ‘playing dead’ as a prank outside her home in Middle Road, Worcester.

Azura said: ‘I didn’t know anything about the Google Street View car (recording me). I fell over while I was playing with my friend and thought it would be funny to play dead. I’m quite chuffed I’m on the internet. It is quite funny and I can’t wait to tell my classmates when I go back to school.’

Anyone who can punk those libtards at Google is a heroine here at SYLG. Three cheers for Azura!

“I am quite Chuffed.” LOL. They have some damn good slang words in the UK.

Nice of the driver of Google’s mapping car to stop and see what was wrong……

JT – I should send her some SYLG t-shirts . . . if there existed such a thing.

AJ – They always sound so refined.

Jeffro – Nothing to see here. Move along.

A lot of folks seem to be avoiding Google these days.

    NFO
People are oblivious and really self-centered. They don’t even notice a person walking through a crosswalk that is right in front of them.

She’s the only person there in the frame, it looks like….this gives the picture an ominous almost apocolypic feel to it, like that Life After People show on the History Channel…..

*1 Day After People- Google Street View Car still taking pictures, albeit at much slower rate

That is awesome. I was checking out my daughters new street in San Diego and there are two guys posing and waving at the google car. This is way better than that.

Kind of like roaches, Google will still be there when it all goes up in smoke, eh?

    Ingineer66
Imgaine the fun folks could have…staging scenes of carnage.

Google caught my son riding his bike on my block. His face is blurred, but anyone that knows him knows it’s him.

I wish I knew when they were driving by.. How cool to moon Google Earth?

    Now, that would be awesome!

That whole street view disturbs me on some levels, but has also been a help when I’m going to areas unfamiliar to me. I can tell if it is in a shady party of town or not…for the most part.
