Joe Biden: Corruptus In Extremis

By Wyatt Earp | July 18, 2010

The FEC fined Vice-President Joe Biden $219,000 for spending violations during his typically terrible 2008 presidential run. Wow, I am shocked and appalled.

I guess Slow Joe thinks that campaign violations are not a “big f**king deal.”

A day after the Federal Elections Commission slapped Joe Biden with a $219,000 fine for spending violations during his failed presidential bid, a spokeswoman for the vice president is calling the ruling “commonplace.”

In a report released Friday, the FEC said a mandatory audit showed the campaign had accepted contributions above the legal limit, failed to adequately pay for rides on a private jet, and issued several checks that had never been cashed.

Specifically, the FEC found Biden had not returned more than $106,000 in contributions that exceeded the legal limit of $2,300 per-person for a presidential candidate. The FEC also found the committee had not returned more than $1 million in over-the-limit contributions in “a timely manner.”

So Joe is either stupid, corrupt, or both. I’m going with “both.” No wonder he fits so well in the Obama administration.

It has always confused me why someone spends millions of dollars to win a spot that pays a couple of hundred thousand dollars per year. Oh, yeah. It isn’t the paycheck, but the POWER.

A pity that most of the money donated to campaigns is paid to the Main Spin Media. Think of what good the money could have done, instead of enriching the likes of dan rather, the perky katie couric, helenn thomas, etc. and the owners of the alphabet soup media.

So glad the national media watchdogs were in their frothy indignation mode to protect us from the specter of Caribou barbie getting some new blouses….

Old joe Bite-me, on the other hand…….strikes me as the wierd, semi-coherent uncle you’re reluctant to visit or be seen in public with……who’d go out to Cumberland Farms and buy a pack of Parliments with a 1933 $20 Gold Certificate….

It looks more and more like no one in the Obama administration paid for a darn thing they were supposed to…..taxes…….limos…….housing…..campaign debts…It’s just so very mundane they can’t be bothered.
