Martha Coakley Thug Assaults Reporter
By Wyatt Earp | January 13, 2010
Wow, things must be pretty bad for the Democrats in Massachusetts if one of their own – former Attorney General Martha Coakley – is having trouble landing the Senate seat previously occupied by Teddy Kennedy.
Things are so bad, in fact, that one of Martha Coakley’s “associates” knocked down a reporter from The Weekly Standard:
After Coakley finished her answer, she began walking away from the restaurant, and I walked behind her asking why health care industry lobbyists were supporting her at the fundraiser. She didn’t reply.
As I walked down the street, a man who appeared to be associated with the Coakley campaign pushed me into a freestanding metal railing. I ended up on the sidewalk. I was fine. He helped me up from the ground, but kept pushing up against me, blocking my path toward Coakley down the street.
He asked if I was with the media, and I told him I work for THE WEEKLY STANDARD. When I asked him who he worked for he replied, “I work for me.” He demanded to see my credentials, and even though it was a public street, I showed them to him.
The video of the assault is below the fold:
Desperate times call for desperate measures, I guess. It’ll be fantastic if Coakley loses next week.

And the worst thing about this?
She did nothing!

Teetop – You would think a former Attorney General would know an assault when she witnesses one.

Keep on moving, nothing to see… sigh…

Coakley was the most corrupt candidate in the field… All the big money went to her.
It should be an interesting race. She has all the giant signs and billboards that money can buy, but Brown has the grassroots support and a clear edge on lawn signs.
I still think she’s going to win because so many people in MA. vote for the democrat as a reflexive behavior.
It’s sad… she’s stupid and corrupt, and she’s going to win because there’s a D next to her name.
The pharmaceutical and insurance industries will be writing health care legislation as a result.

It’s amazing what puzzies reporters actually are.
I’m thinking a real man reporter kicks the living dog shit out ANY staff turd who tries that. In fact I would push their staff around for fun…

If Coakley changed her mind and wanted to lose this election, what exactly would this MENSA candidate do differently?
Declare a jihad against the garden clubs of Massachusetts?
Have your lobbyist pantload knock down a journalist in full view of you?
Then call the journo a stalker?
Bring in the SEIU so they can spend close to $900,000 on ads lavishing praise on me and slamming Brown, only to have an SEIU-affiliated union endorse Scott Brown the day the ads air?
Saturate the comment boards of the Globe and Herald with supporters comparing Brown to Bush/Cheney, only to have the readers call them out on their uninspired cookie-cutter talking points?
Seriously- I’m starting to think martha doesn’t want the job anymore.

Hmmm, it would be nice if the police arrested him for assault.
But that will never happen. Laws only apply to the little people.

Coakley went on the news last night and said she couldn’t comment because she didn’t see the incident. Then they showed the footage of her watching the whole thing. Hopefully the voters won’t pick a liar this time around. Coakley….what a piece of work!

Old NFO – Don’t you see? The reporter asked for it!
Sully – And yet, the Democrats keep telling us Big Pharm is destroying the country. Ironic.
Captain – But by letting him knock him down, he gets to expose the toad and Coakley as typical thugs.
Fenway_Nation – Great, because Scott Brown seems like a pretty damned good candidate.
Kaveman – Hopefully, the reporter will sue her and the thug’s ass.
MeToo – Yeah, she never saw a thing.
