For the hockey, use a lot of doo rags. The ones with the sweat band. And have a solution of alcohol and water in a bottle that is very different from your water bottle. And no really good pain killers? Bummer Man. But the cut in my belly was a “tad” bigger. And the doc gave me 40 of the most wonderful little white tablets…………………oh yeah!
But seriously man, glad you’re getting back into the swing of normal life again. It is something I can relate to.

I think AK is right…you need to heal and can’t risk infection. (Locker rooms are chock-full of nastiness.)

Take care of yourself, and might I suggest Tylenol PM (when you’re home and won’t be driving), after I had surgery the pain medicine made me sick so I took Tylenol PM and knocked myself out. It worked.
Also, tell that lovely little girl Happy Birthday!

Jon – My co-worlers already know I have a hole in my head. It’s where the brain would be in normal folks.

MeToo – Not a problem. Use them in good health!

Ingineer66 – Hope so. My only issue is that the helmet will be against the scar and I don’t need it opening up. Of course, after a week stitched up, it should be good to go.
