I did not know that. You and your wife should talk with a friend of mine. Her youngest is now 19 months old and full of mischief. He was born at 25 weeks gestation and there was a question of him even surviving. 1lb 3oz. She is wanting to set up some kind of support network for families of preemies where there is a centeralized location that parents can go to for help, support, guidance, and hand-holding through the medical nightmare maze that seems to surround preemies and micro-preemies. Being a La Leche League Leader, I get all sorts of calls from moms (and dads) who have problems with breastfeeding, newborn care, health issues, and (this time of year especially) breastfeeding through illnesses. (Both mom and baby.) Every once in a while, I get hit between the eyes just how amazing God is with the gifts He gives us. This is another prime example of His grace and mercy. I pray this family knows that and does not let this miracle go to waste. God is still the God of miracles.
