Pelosi: Buy ObamaCare Or It’s Jail For You!

By Wyatt Earp | November 12, 2009

Nancy Pelosi Gladiator

Because it’s not fair when some of the population is paying for something and some deadbeats are living off the public trough. For some reason, Pelosi has no problem with illegals, though. Hmm . . .

It’s very fair to send people who disregard the federal mandate to buy health insurance to prison, Nancy Pelosi says, because otherwise they’ll assault citizens … with a bill for medical services … or something. Apparently, the occasionally unhealthy have become such a security risk that we need to imprison them for opting to pay their own way. Infidels Are Cool has the key exchange:

Stone: Do you think it’s fair to send people to jail who don’t buy health insurance?

Pelosi: … The legislation is very fair in this respect.

If nothing else, it reminds us that statism always comes with handcuffs, and those cuffs always get explained by either fairness or patriotism. In this case, Pelosi uses both. (H/THot Air)

Buy our ridiculously disastrous health care plan or we’ll throw you in the slammer. That’s funny, I thought we used to live in America.

They are using the ’stuff’ they are passing to buy votes…

Where will they build all these prisons? Last time I checked most were damn near full as it is, causing real criminals to be put back on the street with reduced sentences.

What a moron this bitch is.

When the revolution comes, Pelosi will be the one inside that prison.

With all due respect…as an LEO, it is your responsiblity to take this bitch down and all her ilk with a tazer and throw their asses in prison.

The fact that you won’t/can’t/shouldn’t makes me disrepect LEO’s who take the oath and then willfully disregard it.

It’s time to put up or shut up.

I enjoy your blog, but what will you do when given the order?

kaveman: I’m with you, am a LEO for 34 years and am an Oathkeeper. I think we’ve reached a time where we have to do more than insult and berate the opposition. They must know something that we don’t. Pelosi loses power only when the majority goes to the other political party. She’s in for life in her little communist district. In order to get to her we have to change the numbers everywhere else. She doesn’t care nor worry at the moment, even after the recent elections. She pushes through the Health care abomination AFTER being shown the mood of the American people? Our elected Democrats vote it in? That’s where the belly of the beast lies, and where the strike must be made.

I am hoping cooler and smarter minds than mine prevail and prove that this mandate is unconstitutional. I just don’t understand how Pelosi has no problem letting illegal aliens walk the streets, get healthcare, and welfare but wants to throw US citizens in jail if they don’t buy into her not mess of a healthcare plan. Her last original idea was left circling the drain.

George Morris – I am sure it wasn’t nearly that nice when she was 18.

Old NFO – Don’t they see the poll numbers? Most of the country DOES NOT WANT THIS!!!

Moe – And think of the costs to put people in prison. They think the economy is bad now?

Bob – Or tarred and feathered.

Proof – I thought so, too.

Kaveman – I’ll tell my supervisor, “I’m going to lunch. See ya!” Seriously, I think this is one of those “laws” that will never be enforced. No self-respecting officer would arrest someone for not having health insurance. Oh, and thanks to everyone who wanted to “send a message” to the GOP by not voting for McCain!

Dave B – I’ll follow the Constitution, and I am pretty sure this would violate that document.

Maggie – I think that is going to happen.

Rick – I keep asking her to do that!

Jon – Come on, lightning bolt!

Rob – What we need is a sweep in 2010 and a decent GOP candidate in 2012.

MeToo – I have a feeling that, like Julius Caesar, ObamaCare will die in the Senate. And after 2010, the GOP will have much better numbers in the House.

One of the most annoying aspects of the current system I found is that the critters don’t talk to the voters… a real town meeting type of deal. You are not in congress to push your own agenda, you are there to push ours… if you personally don’t like what we want, tough. You are supposed to represent US and OUR wants and needs, not yours.

Basic requirement : talk to the people who put you in office at least once a month. (and real people, not just a chosen few)

If this goes all of the way through and someone gets charged with it, I can foresee a precedent setting case in the courts. There’s no way this should fly.
