My condolences Wyatt. I had a great aunt, Mary, who lived to 103. She had dimentia toward the end, but it wasn’t the typical horror story.
She though the nursing home she was in was her house, and everyone there was her servant.
If I lose my marbles (that’ll be enough of that), that’s the way I want to go.

I’m sorry for your loss. Your description of your aunt’s strength is so indicative of her generation. My Grandmother Smith was a month older than your aunt and she had that same strong, independent spirit and mind. That is a very special generation.

She sounds like a good role model.
