Hey, folks forget Orton got a better winning percentage in both college and the pro’s than Cutler. In fact Cutler’s next winning season will be his first since high school. (though he did finish 8-8 once).

As a long time Bronco’s fan, I can echo some sentiments here Wyatt – but as a conversation with a couple buddies over a beer or two the other night pointed out – Yah, the Bronco’s shouldn’t probably be 4-0, but they are. And some teams manage to gel fast, and while they’re never the big play makers they find ways to win everytime they get on the field. And in the end, thats all that matters. I tend to agree that Denver isn’t going anywhere in the playoffs. But I’m going into every regular season game thinking they got more then a chance to win now. At the very least, a winning record this year is easily in sight – and who knows. Stranger things have happened in the playoffs.

In short though, its a hell of a lot better year to be a Bronco’s fan then it looked even 4 months ago.

I’m not a Bronco’s fan, but I agree that they look like the best in the west right now. Oakland and KC are through for the year. That leaves San Diego to chase down the Broncos. Will they? It’s possible, but they’re already two games bahind. If Denver beats SD onthe 19th there’s no way the Chargers end up winning the AFC West.
