Special Forces Killed Al Qaeda Operative?

30mm ammunition? Um, not as much.
Possibly watching a senior al Qaeda operative die of “lead poisoning?” Priceless.
Let’s hope the body our boys recovered is indeed that of Saleh ali Saleh Nabhan.
A U.S. Special Forces raid in Somalia on Monday may have killed a wanted al Qaeda terrorist, U.S. officials said.

Special Forces used a helicopter to fire on a car in southern Somalia, killing several people, including one the U.S. military believes was Saleh ali Saleh Nabhan, a senior al Qaeda operative. Nabhan has been tied to several attacks in East Africa, including the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, according to the sources.
He also was wanted by the FBI for questioning in connection with the 2002 suicide bombing of an Israeli-owned hotel and the unsuccessful attack on an Israeli charter jet in Mombasa, Kenya.
Yeah, a real pillar of the Muslim community.
Farmers in the southeastern town of Barawe, Somalia, who said they witnessed the assault, said a number of helicopters attacked a car and its occupants and that at least two people died. They said some helicopters landed and that some of the injured or dead were pulled into at least one helicopter. (H/T – CNN)
That’s frakkin’ awesome. Good job to all involved, especially since we haven’t exactly had the best of luck in Somalia.

If after reports are to be believed, for the bad luck part you mentioned Wyatt, true 19 dead Americans is not good, anytime.. anywhere, but we took hundreds of them with us in the process extracting our guys. A political victory only for them, a very very phyrric one at that.
I was hoping under obambi we could go into Africa and start saving many people and killing alot of mooselims
(not the good ones, they are already dead) as an added side benefit, before they slaughter anymore Christians for allah.
