Obama In Philly To Support . . Specter?

By Wyatt Earp | September 15, 2009

Dumb and Dumber

Is the president out of his frakkin’ mind? I have a better shot to win that senate seat than Specter the Defector!

President Obama will make an appearance at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in support of republican turned democrat Senator Arlen Specter.

The fundraising dinner aims to give the veteran Senator a boost against primary opponent Joe Sestak.

Sorry, Mr. President, but if Specter gets past Sestak in the primary – and that’s a big if – he won’t beat Pat Toomey in the general election. The problem is that neither the Democrat nor the Republican voters trust Specter, and a lot of both hate his guts.

Guests can attend a cocktail reception with the powerful political figures for $1,000. Those staying for dinner had to pay $10,000 or raise $50,000. In addition to the meal, attendees will get a photo with the Obama and Specter.

Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell is also expected to the evening fundraiser. (H/TCBS3)

Governor Rendell will be there, too? Wow, it’ll be a who’s who of typical idiotic, incompetent politicians. Where can I send my check?

Oooooh, Gov. Swin-dell. Gimmee a break. Does he have to pay the $10K attendance fee too? Can’t wait till he’s gone from office. Gawd, I hope FOX quits buddying up to him. They sure seem to like hearing his two cents.

My biggest question is: who wiped Smerconish’s slobber off of Obama’s and Specter’s butts?

Don’t be shocked if Specter wins. There are a lot of dumb people in this state; just his name could get him a victory.

Oh, and I hate him and that fat bastard Rendell.

No Bitter policiticians never pay to get into anything. Any chance for a free meal and back slapping and they are all over it. Doesn’t matter if they are the mayor of Dogpatch on up.

I think Spectre’s opponent just has to run a campaign slogan like this…

“If elected I will never be a Judas to the voters, and together we can do something about Murtha”

Captain – Good. Would hate to see you in the news for giving them the finger.

Mrs. Crankipants – Your self-respect is worth so much more.

Old NFO – Not without a radiation suit and a b.s. detector.

Mark C – “Poison, poison, tasty fish!”

Bitter Clinger – That’s because he usually makes an ass out of himself during interviews.

    BA – I haven’t listened to that full-blown tool in months. He’s a suck-up piece of garbage.

Randal – I know he can. Hell, a portion of this state voted for Murtha again and again. It would be a great day when they are both out of office.

    MeToo – Dumb and Dumber.

Ingineer66 – And people like Fat Eddie Rendell never miss a free meal.

Jon – He’d get my vote.

    Smite – Let’s hope so.

O goes to NJ to support Corzine. Strike one! (or is it One?)
O goes to PA to support Specter. Strike two!
    Who’ll be #3?

Coat tails, shmote tails. The One can’t even campaign for his own causes right now. Pretty soon the Dem candidates will be telling him to stay the hell home.
