Nancy's face is RAWHIDE!
Speaker of the House Nancy “Stretch” Pelosi made all sorts of enws last week, but no headline was better than the one from The Politico, which claimed that Pelosi “couldn’t care less” if she is liked by the commoners. Well, that’s good, because she is as unpopular as the Free Credit Report.com singers now.
Luckily, she is the topic of this week’s Family Security Matters article, so her popularity should plummet even further this week. Here’s a sample:
It has been one dandy of a week for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. First, she tried to force feed an August ObamaCare vote on the House membership, which was unilaterally mocked and ridiculed. The majority of representatives decided they needed to utilize the summer recess to not read the obscenely lengthy bill. Then, she had the temerity to suggest that the Obama administration would tax certain plastic surgery procedures, including Nancy’s remedy de jour: BOTOX. Nancy Pelosi is going to tax BOTOX injections? That would be akin to having Ron Paul implement a tax on tin foil hats.
Throw in Pelosi’s claims that the evil CIA lied to her (and only her) during intelligence briefings, the photos of Tea party attendees declaring her the “Czar of Lies,” and the revelation that she was, in fact, responsible for Lance Armstrong not winning the Tour de France, and you have the makings of some very blustery days.
These recent missteps have cost Madame Speaker dearly in terms of popularity and credibility. Contrary to opinions inside the Beltway, the average American voter is not stupid – although it is conceivable that the Minnesotans who voted for Al Franken were suffering from cranial frostbite. The voters know a scam artist when they see one, and Nancy Pelosi is Washington, D.C.’s version of Michelangelo. The public, to their credit, is starting to paint her with a very unflattering brush – and the polls are reflecting that fact.

Recent polls show San Fran Nan is not doing well with voters in her area. Oh, the irony of the Speaker not being re-elected. More proof that God has a sense of humor. I wonder if she knows her poll numbers are dropping faster than her 70 year old breasts?
