When Is A Hate Crime Not A Hate Crime?

By Wyatt Earp | July 9, 2009

Marshall family

Why, when the victims are white, silly!

The first line of this article tells you all you need to know:

Akron police say they aren’t ready to call it a hate crime or a gang initiation.

And sadly, Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder would agree with this sentiment.

But to Marty Marshall, his wife and two kids, it seems pretty clear.

It came after a family night of celebrating America and freedom with a fireworks show at Firestone Stadium. Marshall, his family and two friends were gathered outside a friend’s home in South Akron.

Out of nowhere, the six were attacked by dozens of teenage boys, who shouted ”This is our world” and ”This is a black world” as they confronted Marshall and his family.

The Marshalls, who are white, say the crowd of teens who attacked them and two friends June 27 on Girard Street numbered close to 50. The teens were all black.

So, white victims are attacked by a group pf black teenagers who shout, “This is a black world!” Oh yeah, no hate crime there!

Akron police are investigating. Right now, the case is not being classified as a racial hate crime.

Imagine for a second if the roles were reversed. Do you think the idiots of the Akron Police Department would classify it as a hate crime then? You’re damned right they would, because if they didn’t, there would be Hell to pay. Politicians, the media, and toads like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would march on Akron.

I would decry the Akron Police Department as criminally inept, but if this incident occurred in any other jurisdiction in America, the results would be the same. In Philadelphia, especially, this would not be classified as a hate crime, because we have been told that “whites cannot be the victims of ethnic intimidation.” Seriously.

Hypocrisy from our intrepid government officials, i.e. business as usual. There should be no such thing as “hate crimes,” anyway. The vary concept puts government in the thought police business. Have we learned nothing from South Park?

It’s Ohio, what do you expect? Ohio is basically a 3rd world country.

I would get snarky with you about your remark, Randal, if it wasn’t true.

    Although….

    GO BUCKEYES!!!

This is perfect example of why “normal capacity” firearms magazines should not be eradicated from the civilian sector. Or simple to use firearms that work under adverse conditions (IE assault weapons).

Why would I ever need such tools?

Because I want to hand my bride an M4 with a 30 round magazine inserted and a round in battery. She gets 30 tries and by the time she says “It’s not going bang any more” I can drop her mag for her and refresh. And, she will have a 5.56 can ($200 tax stamped suppressor) so she doesn’t deafen herself or me.

Yes, it’s a horrible thought that one would have to use a deadly weapon against a bunch of people. But it is a much worse thought to have that hoard gravely injure innocent people who have been talked into surrendering and “hoping” for the best.

And no, this isn’t taking the law into your own hands. Taking the law into your own hands is a activist judge who rules against the Constitution as well as judicial precedent in the name of “social change”.

Thank you. The explosion my head just experienced totally cleared up my allergies. :)

What a bunch of friggin’ backward idiots. Anyone who subscribes to this ideology is extremely stupid.

There are racists of all colors and when they use their race to intimidate another, it is a hate crime. Oh, there I go thinking in a logical way, again.

Gee, RT, I wish you worked for the Justice Dept. You know the idiots who dropped the charges against the New Black Panther Party members.

They could use some logical thinking.

A violent crime is a hate crime against anyone regardless of race.
I guess Akron P.D. follow our Attorney Generals View.(Fed. not State).
    On another topic……
check out this website http://oath-keepers.blogspot.com/ would you say that most Police officers in your Dept. would follow their Oath or would they follow an unlawful order because Dept. ordered them to?

Jason…I’m more partial to 0.001 kiloton hand grenades, or maybe that guided heat seeking mini nuke in Starship Troopers for crowd control. DARPA needs to get busy here.

”This is our world” and ”This is a black world”

This reminds me of something that happened years ago. I was walking down the street with my friend Jeff. Two black kids, about 9 or 10, had a ketchup bottle they probably stole from a restaurant. For no good reason, they aimed it at Jeff and squirted ketchup all over his shirt and pants. He said, “What the hell did you do that for?” One of the kids then explained, “Wilson Goode is the mayor, and our Mama said we can do whatever we want.”

They went along their merry way, Jeff and I stood there dumbfounded. Is this something parents teach their kids?

Just one more reason to be “clinging to guns” as HBO and his crew would say.

If you believe this story then I know a nice Nigerian man who would like to contact you about an investment opportunity.

This homeschool family claims that 30-50 black kids attacked them, on a neighborhood street, just after the city fireworks display was over, chanting “this is our world.” The video of the father shows no signs of struggle. The daughter, a frail little thing, has no visible wounds despite her story that she was bleeding and pulled one of the attackers off her father. The mother has no visible wounds. They don’t sound in shock or scared, despite talking about how scared they are. Not a single witness can confirm that even one of these 50 kids was there. There are no suspects.

The police aren’t calling it a hate crime because they have enough sense to realize the story probably isn’t true.

I’m all for nuclear proliferation but not that close to my home.

I think it should be perfectly legal for me to possess and use flash bangs. Nothing says “get off my lawn” or “stop rioting and destroying the neighborhood” like a couple of flash bangs tossed from a second story window.

It’s the failure to deploy force against shitems that gives them the motivation to conduct criminal activities in clusters.

Better yet, an M203 with some concussion grenades will work wonders to disburse a crowd of bad people.

Only white people can be racist. Duh!

Stuff like that pisses me off. Why are the authorities so afraid to call it a hate crime or racist, when in fact if the roles were reversed, the white people would hang.
