Somehow, I doubt Argentina’s field hockey team ever runs into airline problems. I’m just sayin’.
NEW DELHI – Indian women’s hockey team were finally allowed to leave for a tournament in Russia after bungling officials got their act together having forced them to miss their original flight the previous night.
The team headed to Kazan barely 48 hours before the opening game of the inaugural Champions Challenge Trophy Sunday after officials and travel agents failed to procure transit visas for Germany and the airline turned the team away at the airport. (H/T – )
The sad part is that they probably got their butts handed to them by the Russians beforehand. Damn.
