Obama To Repair US Image In Muslim World
By Wyatt Earp | June 2, 2009

Is he serious? This must be a joke, right? Didn’t some members of the “Muslim world” murder 3,000 Americans in one day – while others celebrated the attack in the streets – a few years ago?
Frak that! I think Muslims – especially moderates – need to repair their religion’s image with America!
President Obama travels to the Middle East on Tuesday in an effort to repair a damaged U.S. image — and seemingly reset relations with the Muslim world.
I’m sorry, but that sentence pisses me off, no end!
It’s a process that has been in the works since his first week in office.
“My job is to communicate the fact that the United States has a stake in the well-being of the Muslim world, that the language we use has to be a language of respect,” Obama said in a January interview with Al-Arabiya television network. “I have Muslim members of my family. I have lived in Muslim countries.”
How come he is playing the Muslim card now when he never bothered to play it when he was trying to get elected?
In a speech to the Turkish Parliament, Obama tried to make a clean break from the rhetoric of the Bush era.
“So let me say this as clearly as I can: The United States is not, and will never be, at war with Islam,” he said. (H/T – CNN)
Of course we’re not. Unfortunately, many segments of Islam are at war, and always be at war, with America. These people don’t give a pig’s arse about your rhetoric or your reset button, you buffoon, but why should that keep you from continuing your “Every Country But America First Tour?”
Oh, and by the way: President Bush was never “at war” with Islam, either, you pompous jackass! He made that very clear during his days in office. Days I am starting to miss with each passing hour.

Excuse me for a bit, Wyatt……I need to go to Costco and get the multipack of duct tape……
So I can wrap my head and keep it from exploding
The day this asshat leaves office will not come soon enough

Finally found it… thank to Theo Spark…
For the first time in nearly 30 years, the US State Department has encouraged US embassies around the world to invite Iranian diplomats to their Independence Day celebrations.
Make sure to have some bacon on that cheeseburger.

When Japan killed 3,000 in Hawaii, we went to war. When the Muslims killed 3,000 in New York, we didn’t? Tell that to Sadaam and Afghanistan. They don’t fear talk, they fear a strong hand that smites them back when they misbehave. Ask Jimmy Carter if they listen when a weak position is made and talk is offered. MUD

Obama will be our Worst President Ever.
I used to see that on a bumper sticker on a neighbor’s car referreing to Bush of course. I can’t wait til that neighbor realizes Obama is a socialist and is destroying what is left of our econimy.
Not that I wish that on our country but there is no stopping the coming destruction since Obama has made it to the White House.
Got it Randal? Heh.
June 3rd, 2009 at 11:04 am
Yeah, I got it. Let me summarize the thoughts of you REAL Americans, not us socialists/communists: Bush was a genius and an incredible leader. Dick Cheney is the Winston Churchill of the 21st Century. Obama’s first 4 months have been the worst Presidency ever. Nancy Pelosi is a hot piece of ass. All 4 of the above have one thing in common.
“When Japan killed 3,000 in Hawaii, we went to war.” Sadam didn’t kill 3,000, Bin Laden did and yet we put way more resources into taking down Sadam that we did hunting down Bin Laden.

I see that BDS is still alive and well, and the kool-aid is still be sucked up. Sad.
June 3rd, 2009 at 12:41 pm
Nah Randal, I believe Bush made plenty of mistakes. Will you ever be able to admit Obama is making mistakes as well?
June 3rd, 2009 at 1:57 pm
I am NOT interfering in this!
June 3rd, 2009 at 2:22 pm
I already did. I’m also going to give him a chance.
Oh, and BDS & kool-aid = dumb. Buzzwords are gay.
June 3rd, 2009 at 2:31 pm
Gay? Golly gee. Now there’s a word I haven’t heard from anyone other than my teenage granddaughter! /snark

Kate – I think they are at war with us, not the other way around.
Kim – Get the bendy straws. They’re more fun.
Deputy Polarbear – Probably not until another 7 1/2 years. He WILL get re-elected.
Old NFO – He is just completely ignorant of the facts and the reality of the battle we’re currently engaged in.
Dano – Sweet! And for dessert? Nuclear secrets!
MUD – Oh we’re battling the Islamofascists, but we are not at war with a religion. There are moderates out there, but they’re puss-aahs for not speaking up.
AJ – You cannot make that claim any more that the libtards can make that claim about Bush. Until Andrew Johnson and Warren Harding are stricken from our records, neither will be the worst ever.
Randal – You obviously are referring to the commenters, because I don’t even vaguely remember saying/writing that tripe.
Kate – “He’s not MY president.” – Randal Graves
AJ – They both made mistakes. I just want to see them both get equal credit for doing stupid things – like this nonsense from Obama.
Alan B – Good move.
Randal – You admitted this “Damage Repair Tour” was a mistake? Did I miss that?
June 4th, 2009 at 3:48 pm
yes, on the buzzwords.
no, on the tour. yes, other mistakes.
June 4th, 2009 at 5:25 pm
Randal – Oh. Did you mention these mistakes here, or did I miss that?
