Funniest appointment . . . evah!
President Obama has turned to his own vice president to oversee implementation of the $787 billion economic stimulus package, part of which will be available this week for state Medicaid programs.
Joe Biden was the best man for this job? Is he serious? How about appointing someone intelligent for such a critical position – or was Dennis Kucinich unavailable?
Obama announced his decision before the National Governors Association in Washington on Monday, saying Vice President Joe Biden will help ensure the distribution of the money is not just swift, “but also efficient and effective.”
Efficient and effective. “What are ‘Words never associated with Joe Biden,’ Alex?” Correct!
“The fact that I’m asking my vice president to personally lead this effort shows how important it is for our country and future to get this right,” he said. (H/T – FOXNews)
Bawahahahahahahahaha! Joe Biden has about as much of a chance at getting this right as I do of being named police commissioner.
Sorry, but if Obama really wanted to ensure compliance and effectiveness, he would have picked someone with an economic background and not someone who asks a wheelchair-bound state senator to “Stand up, Chuck! Let ‘em see ya!” Idiot.
