I think history will remember Mr. Bush kindly. Unlike some people I can think of, he didn’t catch Potomac Fever and I think he will be happy out of office. He is what he is and is comfortable in his own skin. He does not need to make speeches and travel the world getting stroked unlike his predicessor.

Thank you sir for keeping us safe. I hope we may stay that way (although I have my doubts).

I still remember Marines who worked on his detail describing backyard BBQ’s. President Bush knew those Marines by name, knew their wives and kids names. A class act all the way and much different from the treatment by the Clintons. He will be missed. Semper Fi’ Mr. President.

But now what is Bill Maher going to talk about when his alleged show comes back on?

Thank you for the posting, Wyatt. I have always backed President Bush, and am disgusted with how the media have essentially robbed the public of celebrating his geat success at keeping us safe all these years after 9-11. I think your tribute to him is an equally classy act, given the media atmosphere. To hell with his detractors, they contribute nothing to the country’s well-being. All they do is abuse free-speech rights. Good on you for screening out the trolls.

I have a great deal of admiration for President Bush. He has endured a great deal as president. However, no matter how much people have criticized him he never lowered his integrity.
