Burger King Launches Beef Body Spray

By Wyatt Earp | December 18, 2008

Dude, this guy is really scary.

Dude, this guy is really scary.

Apparently, The King suffers from B.O. - Burger Odor.

NEW YORK — Looking to beef up your mojo this holiday season?

Burger King Corp. may have just the thing. The home of the Whopper has launched a new men’s body spray called “Flame.” The company describes the spray as “the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat.”

The fragrance is on sale at New York City retailer Ricky’s NYC in stores and online for a limited time for $3.99.

Burger King is marketing the product through a Web site featuring a photo of its King character reclining fireside and naked but for an animal fur strategically placed to not offend. ()

Personally, I find “The King” particularly creepy. I don’t think a burger-scented spray is going to fix that. I’m just sayin’.

Because when you think of romance, you think of restaurants featuring ketchup packets and napkin dispensers.

Remember the little old lady from the Where’s the beef? Wendy’s commercials?

Why do I have visions of her asking Flame wearing men that question…only to be disappointed by the answer?

You smell like beef and you’ve got a Whopper!!

Why would anyone intentionally try to smell like that?! I find the odor of Burger King to be the second most revolting fast food smell, right behind Taco Bell. I make Sgt. Bones shower and brush his teeth if he dines at either establishment, before I will allow him to even give me a kiss hello. I don’t think he’s been to Taco Bell in a few years now, because he knows how offensive it is to my delicate feminine nose. ^_^
