McCain Avoids Viagra Question

By Wyatt Earp | July 10, 2008

McCain claimed he never thought the question would “pop up.”

(CNN) – John McCain is known for his frequent chats with reporters and his willingness to discuss nearly any issue.

But at least one is off-limits, the Republican presidential nominee suggested Wednesday: Viagra.

“I certainly do not want to discuss that issue,” the Arizona senator said aboard his “Straight Talk Express” bus in Ohio.

But the off-message topic was raised from a member of McCain’s own team: national co-chairwoman Carly Fiorina, who had said earlier women often express frustration over the fact many health insurance plans cover Viagra but not birth control medication.

“Let me give you a real, live example, which I’ve been hearing a lot about from women. There are many health insurance plans that will cover Viagra but won’t cover birth control medication. Those women would like a choice,” she said Monday. (H/T - CNN)

The funniest thing about this story are the comments. Almost every one that CNN “approved” is an attack from some liberal toad. I understand why that is, but I am left wondering one thing:

Why was Chelsea Clinton applauded when she told reporters that the Lewinsky scandal was “none of their business,” but when McCain refuses to answer a Viagra question he is a scumbag who “doesn’t care about women’s issues?”

Why does America need to know if McCain uses Viagra? I can see no relevancy to anything concerning that tidbit of info. Reckon someone’s afraid if he can’t get it up & can’t get any, he might nuke California from sheer sexual frustration?

Snigs - Actually, nuking California would be a good idea just on g.p. Heh.

Please. Can’t people ask better questions? Who cares? Really.

    Stupid people.

Must have been a slow news days. Hey, I got an idea, let’s see how much faster Obama can run towards the political center and how fast the center can run away from him. Heh!

He can’t get it up because all of the blood in his body is inside that gigantic, goiter-like neck he has.

Oh, and denying it or refusing to discuss it is an obvious sign that he uses it. HA HA.

    Snigs - Good point.

RT - I don’t know, but what is the purpose of that idiotic query?

    Leoni2 - He can do the 100-Yard Flip-Flop Dash in 4.6 seconds!

Deanna - Will you marry me??? EVERYONE PLEASE GO TO DEANNA’S BLOG (ldgermant.blogspot.com) TO THANK HER FOR THIS PRECIOUS, PRECIOUS GIFT.

Randal - But we can’t talk about O-Dumbo’s ears or we’re racist. McCain doesn’t need Viagra. His wife is pretty hot. Obama, on the other hand, married “Ugly Girl” from In Living Color. He needs Viagra something fierce!

Randal - Only barely. Michelle Obama reminds me of Dee from What’s Happening? I keep waiting for her to scream, “I’m tellin’ Mama!”

Isn’t it clear that the insurance companies are simply trying to overcome the abortion rate? They’re in favor of more babies (pay for viagra) and opposed to birth control.

No, seriously people. This is an easy one. Male ED (that’s erectile disfunction for those of you who don’t watch a lot of TV commercials) is a medical or psychological issue, depending upon whom you ask–both of which are typically covered by insurance companies.

In very rare cases, birth control is proscribed to overcome female medical issues (such as polycystic ovaries), in which case insurance will cover it). If it’s just so you can have sex freely, IT’S NOT A MEDICAL PROBLEM.

It is a scary thing thinking about McCain with a Viagra induce hard on ; Like maybe Obama as President.

I hate to break it to you all (except RFTR, who got it), but if you read it closely, McCain wasn’t asked if he used Viagra.

    From the article:

“I certainly do not want to discuss that issue,” the Arizona senator said aboard his “Straight Talk Express” bus in Ohio when asked about his views on health insurance covering the medication.

While McCain has every right to refuse to answer ‘personal’ questions about Viagra, he shouldn’t get a free pass on this as it is a legitimate question.

Obviously McCain has been handling Viagra tablets. Look at his finger.

RFTR - I can have sex freely? Gotta go!

Admiral - No, Obama is much scarier.

Glocksman - I’ll give him a pass until the MSM starts asking the Obamaton real questions.

    Mike47 - Stiff as a . . . well, you know.
