Military Seeks Death For USS Cole Suspect

Good. Hang ‘em high.
WASHINGTON (CNN) — The U.S. military will seek the death penalty against Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, making him the first person charged in the United States for the 2000 attack on the USS Cole, an Air Force general said Monday.
Al-Nashiri, who is being held by the U.S. military at Guantanamo Bay, says he was tortured into confessing his involvement in the bombing, according to transcripts released by the military.
Susan Crawford, who is effectively the judge in military commission trials at Guantanamo Bay, will determine whether the prosecution should go forward and, if so, whether the death penalty should be considered.
The CIA has admitted to” waterboarding” al-Nashiri at a secret location in 2002; the tapes of the interrogation were destroyed in 2005. (H/T – CNN)
Ya know, I have to admit that if this toad was waterboarded into a confession, I have zero problem with that. Seventeen U.S. sailors were killed and thirty-nine more were injured. When I am King of the America, the gloves will come off, and scumbag terrorists will have no rights when they attack U.S. citizens. None.

I’m glad I’m not the only person who feels that way.

Waterboarded? Oh the HUMANITY! Too bad the didn’t cut his head off to get him to confess.
It seems to me these guys get their last names from the town they are from. Terrorism should work ‘Corruption of blood’ and that town should be wiped off the face of the Earth. Screw them and anybody that looks like them.

He should have been water boarded 17 times. We could have had him saying Allah was gay too.
I think hanging him with a short rope from the rear deck of the USS Cole would work best.

Snigs – Waterboarding is for wussies. They should have hooked this guy’s genitals to a car battery. I’m just sayin’.
Mope – And while we’re at it, why the Hell are we NOT taking their oil? If GWB is gonna get blamed for that, he might as well do it!
Admiral – Throw him over the bow, and chop him up in the screws.

Concur!

Skip the car battery, hook straight into a nice power line transformer.
Or leave him in a room with my mother for a few hours when she’s in one of her moods…

Old NFO – I figured you would be all for it.
Snigs – Mama? Yikes!

Hell, isn’t water boarding basically just putting a wet wash cloth over someones mouth? The prison guards down at Gitmo probably have a lot better tools for torturing someone, hanging off their duty belts.

So I’m in this play, right? Shakespeare’s The Tempest. And at rehearsal the other night, a couple of the actors were discussing the plight of the character Caliban, who is held captive by Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan. One of the guys says, “So Caliban’s experience is worse than Guantanamo, right? Waterboarding would be nothing to him in comparison.” Had I been eating something I would have choked. (The guy who said this is an Enlgish lit professor, so that tells you all you need to know. Theater is riddled with libs, making it a hazardous activity.)
You know, in the days of King Henry the VIII, the heads of traitors and other enemies of the state would be lopped off and displayed on pikes on Tower Bridge. Perhaps we should revive this quaint tradition.

Marvin – They should have utility belts, like Batman.
Pam – I’m all for spiking! Let’s ratify it amongst ourselves!
Doghouse – Mmm . . . they’re bacon-esque!
