Hollywood Unites Behind Child Rapist

You know those esteemed Hollywood types; for them, it’s all about the children. Except, of course, when the victim is a child. And the victim was raped. And the rapist is one of their own.
You may want to break out the duct tape for this one. Allahpundit has the aneurysm-inducing story:
Note well: No matter what the LA Times would have you believe, he’s not an “accused” child-rapist. He pled guilty. The conviction’s on the books. All that’s left to settle is the sentence.
But Hollywood knows a good cause when it sees it.
The surprise detention of Roman Polanski has been met with indignation in Hollywood and sparked a flurry of media speculation over the real reason behind Saturday night’s arrest in Zurich.
Film mogul Harvey Weinstein has got behind a campaign by French film-makers calling on US authorities not to extradite the Oscar-winning Polish director in connection with a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor dating back more than three decades…
Hey guys, what’s the big deal? Polanski only drugged and raped a 13-year old girl . .
The film uncovered flaws in the legal case against the director, prompting Weinstein to allude to a possible campaign to get the charges against Polanski dropped. At a hearing this year a Los Angeles superior court judge agreed there was “substantial misconduct” in the original hearing.
If there was substantial misconduct, why not come back to LA and litigate the matter at an appellate level? Answer: Because Polanski and his cretinous supporters don’t care if he’s guilty or not. They want him to walk free, in the name of “art,” without another word spoken on the subject.
Sadly, this scumbag Weinstein is the driving force behind Clerks (as well as the Jay and Silent Bob series) and most of Quentin Tarantino’s films. Wow.

Wonder how they would feel if it had been their 13 year old daughter who had been given pills and booze and then assaulted and raped? If it had been my daughter, and some idiot judge let him out on bail after he pled guilty, Polanski would never have gotten the chance to board a plane. He would have been on a cold hard slab at the morgue. I’ll take my chances with a jury of my peers.

When Polanski got on the plane to leave, he had to know that he would forever be on the run from the prison time he needed to do. I hope this causes him to be returned to the USA and get a new trial if that’s what should be done or sent to Prison. Better, send him to prison and let him appeal from there. MUD

It wasn’t just a charge, he plead GUILTY to “unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor”.
I don’t want him back in the US; put him on a plane back to the US, then open the door over the Azores and see if he can fly.

MeToo – They would do the same thing, but since they didn’t know the girl, they’ll side with the predator.
Dennis – I agree. He jumped bail, so he should be sitting in a cell until the hearing.

“Chinatown” and “Rosemary’s Baby” are two of my favorite films, but when you read the details of the case…sheesh! Need I say any more. The Hollywood response is typically childish. They don’t believe in equal justice under the law because there are people that are too fabulous to adhere to the rules and regulations of a civilized society. When is that mega-quake due?

Apparently, thirteen is the new twenty one in Hollywood.
There must be something in the water in Hollywood that sucks every ounce of common sense out of their heads. Where else could a retired football player kill his wife and walk, Mumia is a saint, and it’s okay to drug and sodomize a 13 year old because you’re a great filmmaker?

I’d modify Randalls approach a bit. Give him a chute
and have the family of the girl scattered around the drop zone all with mini vulcans, then shoot him out of the sky.

Since the sick sunuvabitch should be in jail in California, how about having him share a cell with Charlie Manson and let Charlie have another stab at him, so to speak?

I don’t know if this was mentioned yet, but the other day in Poland, they passed a law that makes it legal to punish pedophiles by castrating them.
Roman is from Poland…
