Korean Fails Driving Test 771 Times

SEOUL, South Korea — One could say she has the determination … but lacks the drive.
A 68-year-old South Korean woman this week signed up to take her driving test once again — after failing to earn a license the first 771 times.
Good Lord, it only took me 541 times! This broad is one pathetic loser!
The woman, identified only as Cha, first took the written portion of the exam in April 2005, said Choi Young-cheol of the Driver’s License Agency in the southwestern city of Jeonju.
She failed the test. She retook the test the next day and failed again. And again. And again.
The office estimates she has spent more than 4 million won ($2,888) in exam fees.
Cha’s last failed attempt was Monday. She tries for the 772nd time either Thursday or Friday. (H/T - CNN)
I, for one, wish her luck. Of course, if she passes the test this time, we can expect to see this on the highways and bi-ways of Korea:

Can this woman even read?… She should have passed the written test by accident given that many tries.
I think its time to waive the exam fee on this one and sell tickets to watch her take the written and road exam.

It’s no joke. One of my EVOC instructors was almost killed when a civilian (non-sworn) student veered a full 30′ off the coned run-up ramp, through the cones, past a metal pole and into my instructor’s legs. He survived only by, at the last second, jumping UP onto the hood of the car, smashing the windshield. She said, quote: “I guess I looked at him (my instructor) too much.”

I like how the Guy likes to talk trash about my driving–yet HE’S the one that always veers off the road.
Can’t defend being Asian, though…as I’m not.
My only problem w/ driving is my rage. Other than that, I’m a great driver.

On one hand, pretty pathetic, on the other, at least she is still trying. Most would have given up and just be driving without a licsense anyway…
