“Bored” Homeless Man Kills Student
By Wyatt Earp | October 16, 2008

Ya know, when I’m bored, I read a book or watch some TV.
NEW YORK (AP) — Prosecutors say a homeless man told them he killed a New York City college student because he was bored.
Prosecutors filed a signed statement in court in which Jeromie Cancel admits killing 19-year-old Kevin Pravia last month. But Cancel pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder at his arraignment Wednesday.
Police have said Cancel went to Pravia’s Manhattan apartment after Pravia approached him looking for drugs.
The statement says Cancel was leaving but had nowhere to go. It says, “I was bored, so I decided to go back into the apartment and kill him.”
Cancel’s statement says he killed Pravia by stuffing a plastic bag in his mouth while holding his nose and choking him with a cord around his neck. (H/T – CNN)
This filthy animal needs to be put down . . . quickly.

Old NFO – Dude needs a hobby. One that doesn’t end with a homicide.

Oh, he was bored?
I’m sure the Judge and Jury will eat that crap with a shovel spoon.
Sad part is, how much money are we gonna spend to keep this guy behind bars when a .45 ACP round can still be gotten for 15 cents?
Killing out of rage, I can understand. Even jealousy, or feeding a drug habit I can at least see some twisted rational behind.
But boredom?
What’s the Parole board gonna do when they release him after only serving 1/20th of his sentence? Declare that he must wear a necklace made out of shiny objects to keep him amused?
Farmers built barns for a reason. Take him round back and shoot him.

Kaveman – Agreed, but we all know what will happen. Guilty . . . by reason of insanity. Then we get to pay for him for the rest of his life.
E.L. – Your lips to God’s ears.
Kim – If so, he didn’t learn anything.
Admiral – How can you say that? You read this blog!
