Three Great American Birthdays

By Wyatt Earp | July 6, 2005

“Happy Birthday, Mr. President . . . “

No, this is not my lame-ass impression of Marilyn Monroe. Today is President Bush’s 59th birthday. Many happy returns to the world leader in the War on Terror. Stay the course, boss!

“There she goes again.”

Today is also Nancy Reagan’s 84th birthday. Just say no to cake, ma’am!

Mr. Annapolis

As if the previous two celebrations weren’t enough, today is John Paul Jones’ birthday (the naval legend, not the drummer). John is 258 years young. Congratulations, sir!

Why is it that someone who was born today gets to share their birthday with three great Americans, and I (April 22nd) usually get to share it with people like Lenin and Aaron Spelling???
