Honestly, .

Traveling through Google Brazil’s Street View is an amazing trip of luxury and misery, even while one can’t get into the favelas for risk of being killed. There’s no need though. You can find death elsewhere. A murder in Belo Horizonte, in the State of Minas. You can see the body covered in a black plastic, surrounded by the military police.

These images have been removed from Google Street View already, but not before they were captured by Brazilian Google Street View users.

The really messed up part is that this is only one of two active crime scenes captured by the idiots at Google. The other photo is at the link. Philadelphia’s street surveillance should be as good.

Are we sure it isn’t a more elaborate prank than that ?

I mean does that bag looked like it was tucked under and all? Wouldn’t that be destroying the crime scene?

I am a big fan of Google street view. They got my house on a Thursday between 9 and 10 AM. Trash cans are out and empty and my one sons car was still in the driveway!

I wonder where this Brazilian street would fall in the 25 worst streets for crime in Americas list? Would it beat out Philly at #6 with N13th street? Or maybe Cleveland at #2 with Scovill Ave.? Or even obambi’s home town Chicago at ..Taaa Daaaa..#1 at West Lake St.

Jon I would guess that there are 25 Streets in Brazil that top anything in the US. Kind of like oil spills or epidemics or poverty in the US vs. the rest of the world. On our worst days we cannot even touch the kind of tragedy that much of the world endures on a regular basis.

Fenway – Pretty sure, since there is another body in another photo on the link.

Danny – Body bag probably already zipped to keep away onlookers. It looks tucked when it’s closed.

Jon – That section of N. 13th is in my division. I am well aware of its danger.

    Ingineer66 – Agreed. It’s Thunderdome down there!
