Georgia Drug Dealer Accepts Gift Cards

By Wyatt Earp | January 2, 2009

gift-card2Hey, in this uncertain economy, many “pharmaceutical distribution agents” have to rethink their methods of payment. Kudos to this enterprising young gentleman!

Hopefully, one of the gift cards is for “One Free Naked Rubdown from the Cellmate of Your Choice.”

ATHENS, Ala. – You can call it a case of creative drug-dealing. Athens police have a 38-year-old man in custody for allegedly accepting gift cards for payment for crack cocaine and prescription drugs. Police Captain Marty Bruce, a spokesman, said the man was arrested Monday night. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Bruce said officers executed a search warrant at the man’s house and seized crack cocaine, Xanax pills, $899 cash and $175 in gift cards. ()

Strangely enough, the dealer’s personal “Ho” accepted his gift cards before giving him herpes - the gift that keeps on giving.

The husband wonders if this isn’t one of his “rehabs” from work. They’ve had a fair share of Athens finest here lately.

Most likely in addition to the credit card machines. They will get atm machines. Just guessing.
