Here Comes Peter Got-No-Bail

A new children’s book is on the market, and it is meant to help kids cope with the arrest of a parent.

This book assumes a few things:

First, that the child even knows the identity of his or her felonious father, or that the child isn’t e pluribus unum.

Second, that the child gives a rabbit’s arse that Daddy is locked up.

‘The Night Dad Went to Jail: What to Expect When Someone You Love Goes to Jail’ follows a young rabbit as his father is arrested at their house in front of the neighbors and sentenced to six years in prison.

It offers tips for dealing with the hardship of losing a parent for many years and an explanation of what to expect as a mother or father going through the legal process.

Sketch, a young rabbit, recounts his first-hand experience of witnessing his father’s arrest in their home and shares his lingering confusion.

A sequel is already in the works. It’s titled, “The Night Dad Dropped the Soap.”

Follow up books in the series:

Daddy told me what a Full Body Cavity Search is.

Daddy’s new friend is named Bubba and Bubba likes him very much.

Mom now drinks heavily and chain smokes funny looking little cigarettes.

Daddy told me never to drop the soap in the shower.

It’s a pretty sad statement when something like this is even considered, much less published… And will it get to the kids that actually NEED it? Hell no…

I hope it has lots and lots of pictures. Most of these kids can’t read and neither can their so called mothers.

If I had an award to give out for brilliance in terminology I would give it to you for that one.

    ROFLMAO…brilliant!

I can see a new show popping up on NickToons any month now, knowing the leftards.

What surprises me is that “dad” didn’t attempt to bail out some window, use “Sketch” or rabbit-mama as a human body-shield, spit on an officer, or make a furtive move that got him TASED.

Now THAT would be a more FACTUAL book…!
    (right?)

    Roll safe out there.
