Moonbat Professor Sues Catholic University

By Wyatt Earp | October 27, 2011

The suit claims that Catholic University does not provide Muslim students an area for daily Muslim prayers, and the spaces that are available are surrounded by Catholic (read: offensive) symbols.

New charges have recently been filed against the University on counts of illegal discrimination against its Muslim and female students. The allegations are being reviewed by the District of Colombia Office of Human Rights (OHR), which has the strictest discrimination laws in the country. President John H. Garvey and the University is being urged to respond to the charges.

I’m sorry, but as a Catholic, this frivolous lawsuit infuriates me. I mean, if Catholic symbols are so incongruous, then why did the Muslims bother to enroll in the university at all?

John F. Banzhaf III, the George Washington University Professor of Public Interest Law is behind these new charges. The official allegations claim that CUA, “does not provide space – as other universities do – for the many daily prayers Muslim students must make, forcing them instead to find temporarily empty classrooms where they are often surrounded by Catholic symbols which are incongruous to their religion,” according to a press release on PRLOG.com.

Sorry Mr. Banzhaff, but I’ll rely on the opinion of a Muslim student who actually attends the school.

Wiaam Al Salmi, a Muslim student at CUA who recently started the Arab American Association, which had its first meeting this week, said, “The community here is very respectful of other religions and I feel free to openly practice it.”

In my opinion, this lawsuit should be dismissed out of hand.

They should be able to charge people with contempt for wasting the court’s time. What a dumbass.

This is their form of cultural and legal jihad, two of the 5 pillars of jihad. The other 3 pillars are: Larry, Curly and Moe-hammed.

How does any attorney see anything coming of this case? Unless, it all about publicity????

It’s adjudication like this should go through my BS meter before heading into any court.

    Stamped, BS! Next.

Sally Anne – And that’s all this is – a publicity stunt to get CU to fold.

Jon – Maybe if CU puts its hand to its nose, it can block the the eye poke?

Roger – Funny how a lot of liberals want people to change their long-held beliefs in the interest of “fairness.” How come their beliefs are more important than anyone else’s?

Danny – The lawyer expects CU to fold under the pressure. Hopefully, they hold the line.

Wyatt – Then they will get the two handed one finger each hand eye poke. NuK yuck yuck!

I have worked at a midwest Catholic university for over 10 years. We have religious symbols such as crucifixes in almost all our rooms and labs. No one mandates you attend a Catholic university so do everyone a favor and apply some place else. I am so sick and tired of traditions and common sense being turned on it’s ear in the name of diversity. I have all but decided diversity is just another name for idiocy and I hate dealing with the idiocy of others.

Blame the liberal Catholic dogma for admitting Muslims in the first place.

Wouldn’t this be comparable to a Vegan deciding to have lunch at Wendy’s or McDonald’s, only to bitch about all the pictures of meat products surrounding him?

Speaking of contempt for wasting the court’s time… This makes me pine for Judges like Roy Bean, who would have either shot that piece of shit where he stood, or had him strung up from the closest tree.
He would have fined him first, though…
And there’d never be another case like it filed…anywhere.

This particular prof is known for being a rabblerouser. He’s also bringing suit against them for having unisex dorms.

I’m still waiting for a liberal lawyer to file suit against a madrassa to force them to provide Christian students a place to worship. And to prevent them from harrassing the Christian students.

And forcing saudia arabia to admit non-muslims to mecca.

Don’t worry, I’m not holding my breath.

@ C/A The guy bringing the lawsuit is not a Muslim. He’s a Ralph Nader type asshat. See how far you can read through his website without rolling your eyes.

A Catholic University is a private institution not public, so I don’t see how this law suit has a leg to stand on. The individual didn’t have to choose that University when there are hundreds of public institutions to choose from. It is just one more BS stunt that the ACLU is using to take away our religous freedoms.
