By The Time You Read This

By Wyatt Earp | October 1, 2011

I’ll already be deaf.

Today is our annual trip to Dover Int’l Speedway. The boys, my friend Bill, my sister Allison and I will be taking in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Dover 200 this afternoon. With any luck, the day will be as exciting as last year, when the kids met driver Trevor Bayne – who won this year’s Daytona 500 – and Denny Hamlin’s mother (pictured with us above). This is my third year going with the boys, and it’s all they have been talking about since June.

I’ll post more about the day when we get back. Let’s go racin’!!!

    What Loaded Dice said.

OT but maybe you can answer my question.

Which genius gave Phllies fans white flags to wave during a playoff game?

I’d like to shake his hand. He made me laugh today.

RT – Thanks. Great time, and as usual, the kids had a blast. Met Denny Hamlin’s mom again, and saw Kyle Petty walking outside the track.

LDIV – And really, really loud. Good times. I’ll try to blog about it more tomorrow.

Veeshir – I was so happy when I saw they were losing . . . then they scored 5 runs in an inning. I swear, this is fixed in their favor.

Those smaller tracks DO hold in the noise, that’s for sure

Now if you go to POCONO…

In any event, have fun and keep the shiny side UP.
