Good News, Minnesota!

By Wyatt Earp | February 11, 2010

Above The Post Update: Sgt. Kriesel won his election!

Sgt. John Kriesel, at left.

You finally have an honorable state congressional candidate worth voting for!

A Minnesota veteran who lost both of his legs in Iraq will run for Congress in District 57. Sgt. John Kriesel is a Republican.

KARE 11 reported, via Free Republic: A war veteran who lost his legs in Iraq is now running for public office.

Sgt. John Kriesel says he’ll run as a Republican for the House of Representatives District 57 seat, representing Cottage Grove, St. Paul Park and South St. Paul. It’s the seat now held by Karla Bigham who announced she won’t seek re-election this fall.

Electing Sgt. Kriesel would help to undo a lot of the damage from the Al Franken debacle. I’m just sayin’.

UPDATE: Sgt. Kriesel left a comment here with a site link!

Thank you all for your support! I am actually running for the Minnesota House of Representatives seat in District 57A. My website is still under construction, but you can visit it at http://www.johnkriesel.org there is a PayPal button at the top for contributions. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!! I promise to bring common sense leadership to the State Capitol!

John Kriesel, SSG (Ret.)

You are truly welcome, sir. Good luck!

Electing Kriesel would be one small step for Minnesotans in the “right” direction. Franken is an opportunitistic cancer and the good people of Minnesota need to eradicate him as their senator.

That’s what we need in Congress, more patriots like SGT Kriesel, and less self-serving career politicians.

After those idiots put Franken in the Senate, I don’t have much faith in the stupid voters in MN. Patriotism, courage, honor and character mean exactly nothing to MN demokratz.

Not to split hairs, but this is for the MN House, right? MN doesn’t have that many US Congressional districts.

MeToo – His tenure cannot be over soon enough.

DL474 – He would have my vote if I lived there.

    JohnD – Damned straight.

RT – Good Lord, I would love to see that idiot thrown out of the Senate.

Watuschskie – Of course, if Scott Brown can win in Mass, anyone can win anywhere.

Tony B – Correct. My bad. I updated the post for accuracy.

I looked for a website to contribute to Sgt. Kriesel but didn’t find one. Would you please update when he builds one or get an address to contribute. I am picking and choosing my contributions carefully…and he’s on my list, even though I live in SC.
