I Hate Colorado Nazis

These guys are slightly better than Illinois Nazis, because at least these morons are environmentally-conscious. I’m just sayin’.
BRIGHTON, Colo. – It’s a small sign igniting a big debate. An official state of Colorado Adopt-a-Highway placard announcing that a one-mile long stretch of US Highway 85 is sponsored not by the Boy Scouts or the Lions Club, but by the Nazi Party of Colorado.
Members call themselves the National Socialist Movement. They are inspired by teachings of Hitler, believe interracial relationships and homosexuality should be crimes, and they want to start a separate all-white country. The Adopt-a-Highway program, they say, is a good PR move for them and a recruiting tool.
Strangely enough, the Nazis said they were only going to keep the white lines clean. In their words, “the blacktop can go to Hell.”

I found it interesting that the news out here reported they would be out cleaning this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. A rather not so subtle statement.
I see it as: Even white trash can pick up the trash.

Put up a sign for one, and you have to have it for all. Stupid speech is a part of free speech and I would rather have them protected than have anyone start taking away our rights. If we say no to this because it offends us, will the majority party then be able to stop out TEA (Tax Enough Already) parties? I would trade Colorado the Phelps fsamily for a few Nazis. I really hate nazi’s. MUD

I can’t understand why, with the taxes we pay, the guvmint can’t clean the highways themselves.

Miriam – Usually, the groups submit a monetary donation for the state to clean the highway. The Nazis are actually hitting the macadam to make a point and give their racist organization some publicity. Unreal.
Randal is just stirring the pot, kind of like I sometimes do on left leaning blogs.
I agree with MUD as much as we may despise what this group stands for, the Constitution protects all Americans not just the popular ones.
The businesses often sponsor a company to clean the road so they can get some advertising on the sign in a place that advertising signs are not allowed. Or they have their employees meet up to feel good about doing something good.
I’ve been reading awhile and never made a comment, so here goes… All I can say, it was hilarious listening to the leader of this group on the local talk show today in Denver while on my way to work. What a brainwashed moron! Mud – I’ll keep a few moron Nazis though and you can have Fred Phelps and his family – they are all true lunatics.

Republicans can only make over-broad generalizations, because otherwise they would be racist. And that is the why we now call a spade the semi-flat metal scoop on a long pole used for moving earth thingie.
Hmmm, that road sign must be brand new, it isn’t full of bullet holes yet.
I still want to know why the guvment can’t keep the highways clean. Don’t we all pay taxes?
