Thug Steals Leukemia Patient’s Donation Jar
By Wyatt Earp | November 14, 2009
Despite what you may read here, there are a lot of things I love about this town. Philadelphia is the birthplace of America, and the Olde City section of town is rich in history.
Unfortunately, it is also rich in thuggery. Even sick little girls are not outside the reach of their filthy paws. Take this story, for example. A story that makes me both angry and nauseated at the same time.
A Philadelphia community is shocked by the actions of a cold-blooded thief who swiped a jar containing donations for a young girl fighting leukemia.
East End Salon, near 2nd and Arch Streets in Old City, has been collecting donations to help Catherine McLaughlin, a 4-year-old fighting a form of leukemia. The funds collected were to be used to pay for McLaughlin’s medical costs as she receives treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Recently, a suspect kicked in the front door of the East End Salon and stole a jar containing nearly $250 in donations. The suspect also swiped an envelope containing an additional $750 for McLaughlin from a desk drawer.
If you would like to help, donations can be sent to:

Despicable. I sincerely hope the toad is caught . . . and he resists arrest.

What low-life scum. Hopefully they’ll get what they deserve.

“Gee, Supervisor. I had to tase him 10 times in a row at the highest setting. He kept resisting.”
I am praying for the family and first thing Monday, I will be going to the credit union.

I hope he commits suicide, by shooting himself in the back of the head a few times.

“I hope this creep get caught and shot trying to escape.”
Personally, I’d rather see him taken alive after a furious struggle in which tasers and night sticks were required.

Kim – I am, too.
Teetop – Now that would be a neat trick.
Wes S. – Maybe something good can come out of this insanity.
Rick – Or tries to escape and gets hit by a bus.
BobG – STICK TIME!!! WHOO HOO!
