Hey New Jersey, It’s Election Day!
By Wyatt Earp | November 3, 2009

And if you happen to live in the Garden State, it might be a good idea to take five minutes out of your day and vote. Of course, if you are tired of being taxed back to the Stone Age by your idiot governor, you should probably vote for the Republican candidate, Chris Christie. Christie would probably never do this:
I guess we finally have a solid answer to the question of whether Daggett’s hurting Christie or Corzine more by staying in the race.
The Democratic State Committee now admits paying for a robocall to Somerset County voters that slams Republican Chris Christie and promotes independent gubernatorial candidate Christopher Daggett.
A Democratic spokeswoman says the party’s chairman, Joe Cryan, was not aware of the robocalls when he denied that the state committee had anything to do with them yesterday afternoon.
Before the Democrats owned up to it, Daggett media advisor Bill Hillsman said the call might be a Republican trick to generate a sympathetic newspaper story.
Uh-huh. Typical Democrat lies. Blame the GOP for their shenanigans.
Since Ed’s post this morning, three new polls have hit the wires: Democracy Corps has Corzine by five, Survey USA has Christie by three, and Monmouth has Corzine by two, with their polling director calling the race one of the most volatile he’s ever seen. All I can say is that I agree wholeheartedly with Capitol Confidential: “It speaks volumes that the Democratic party in New Jersey feels the best use of their resources is to promote a third-party’s candidate instead of their own.”
Allahpundit ends his post with a thought that everyone outside the state is thinking:
For god’s sake, Jerseyans, Corzine? Really? (H/T – Hot Air)
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to pay more tolls while driving down the shore from Philly. I cannot imagine the tax hell in which you folks find yourselves.

My sister-in-law’s last tax hike is more than my property taxes are in a year. And she doesn’t live in a mansion.
It will be interesting to see the results of this race.
Ok… you win. The pic made me want to procreate.
if Christie wins, and I hope he does, watch the Dems yell foul and cry for a re count. Remember froggy frankin? Suddenly all these absentee votes emerged from somewhere.
Sadly, Corzine will probably win. Rumor has it that ACORN has deployed assets from Philly and NYC to work (i.e., fix) the election. The GOP needs a wide margin to win in a place like NJ. I hope I’m wrong about that, but I’m not holding my breath.
They were late getting the ballots out to our heroes serving overseas. They will NOT be returned in time to be counted. The DNC is already Challenging absentess ballots that don’t match voter registration signatures. They won’t even need akorn to steal this one. The upside is the Feds and the worthless MSM are not spread all over, and may follow this a little closer. …..One can hope.
I vote for Jersey to be swallowed by the Atlantic.
HEY!
Hey Christie won. Now can I say that I hope he does well but really mean that I hope he fails so I can say I told you so.
Mrs. Crankipants – Seems like New Jersey had enough of the brutal taxes. Good for them.
Dano – See? I do have a purpose!
TBB – Christie won, and they haven’t cried yet. Although they are downplaying the GOP wins in NJ and VA – as if we didn’t see that coming.
John D – If they did, they failed. Christie wins!
Hutch1200 – It looks like Christie won despite the usual shenanigans.
Randal – Whoo hoo! Beachfront property!
RT – Oh. Sorry.
Randal – Hey, I haven’t said “I told you so.” Yet.
