We glued ourselves to the set taking in what had been repeatedly proclaimed to be "the greatest movie ever made." It starts with the lengthy dawn of man sequence, and when the first commercial came up, my late, great Dad loudly proclaimed, "This has been nothing but a half-hour of apesh*t!"
