Philadelphia Police Officer Arrested

Why is it that when some jackass police officer does something incredibly stupid it has to occur in my division? I swear to God this place if frakkin’ cursed.
And if this story is true, this piece of detritus deserves to be fired, arrested, and prosecuted. He also needs to get his damned head examined, in my opinion.
A Philadelphia police officer has been arrested after another officer allegedly witnessed him engaged in a sex act with a female prisoner.
The alleged incident took place early Friday morning inside a prison cell in the 35th district.
Officer Malaika Mebane — a 17-year veteran of the force — has been charged with Indecent Deviate Sexual Assault and other charges. Officer Mebane’s been suspended with the intent to dismiss. (H/T – KYW1060)
Well, at least the alleged assault took place after my tour was over. Allegedly, this moron received a “Lewinsky” from a female prisoner inside the 35th District cell room. Another officer walked in on them, and reported it to the supervisors.
Throwing away 17 years for an alleged hummer. Nice job.

A SGT on the same Dept my Son is with was busted last week, child porn on his home computer…
Seems that the State Police had a scam site set up or something of that nature, and they were tracking WHO did the *staged* downloads, well, this guy threw his career in the shitter… His computer was filled with porn of girls 14 and younger…
My Son was shocked, he’s known the guy a long time and said this was a total shock to everyone on the Dept. He said they wouldn’t have been at all surprised had it been FULL GROWN WOMEN, but the *kiddie porn* was a real shock…
I countered with, “Well, what about 10 or so years ago when he was disciplined for inappropriate behavior while on duty at the high school? Didn’t that throw a RED FLAG for anyone?”
That was when he was a City officer, and I am thinking charges were dropped and swept under the table, but some folks ALWAYS remember.
I’ve had some great hummers in my time, but none worth giving up a career for.
While I was stationed at a Navy training command we averaged two staff members a year who’d be caught with their charges in a compromising position. Everyone knew the punishment, yet some fools still thought they could get away with it.
