All Hail The White Coat Czar!

By Wyatt Earp | October 7, 2009

Lab coatsIf there was ever an administration better than the current one at staging phony photo-ops, I would like to see it. The Obama administration performed another honest-ectomy on Monday, the a lot of good doctors died in the process.

Or at least their reputations did.

The prognosis? Negative!

Why was the New York Post the only major media organization to report this?

President Obama yesterday rolled out the red carpet — and handed out doctors’ white coats as well, just so nobody missed his hard-sell health-care message.

In a heavy-handed attempt at reviving support for health-care reform, the White House orchestrated a massive photo op to buttress its claim that front-line physicians support Obama. …

The physicians, all invited guests, were told to bring their white lab coats to make sure that TV cameras captured the image. But some docs apparently forgot, failing to meet the White House dress code by showing up in business suits or dresses.

So the White House rustled up white coats for them and handed them to the suited physicians who had taken seats in the sun-splashed lawn area.

When did the White House add a Wardrobe Czar to the administration? Does this position have Congressional oversight, or did the Obama administration outsource that to Cintas? (H/THot Air)

This one ranks up there with the Obama staffers handing out “homemade” signs to the audience during the campaign.

If the Obama administration keeps these shenanigans up, some other people in white coats are going to come a-callin’. And they will probably be armed with butterfly nets and rubber rooms.

I am pretty sure this is not the kind of transparency Obama had in mind. And I am positive that the above is not the photo-op he was hoping for and the docs were changing for. That darn press corps. When did they get a mind of their own?

    staging phony photo-ops

Remember candidate Obama with his photo op in front of 10 Downing Street? He wasn’t there to see the Prime Minister, he just wanted his picture taken some place where he could look Presidential!

I am not going to call Obama, Hitler, but I do think he borrowed his play book.

I’m wondering ala ‘One Flew Over the Cookoos Nest’ if Jack Nicholson wasn’t in the background softly chiming..”Its medication time..Its medication time” at the gathering.

Dang! Forgot how to spell Cookoo! Must be going nuts myself.

When they come for all of us in the white coats we won’t have any problem identifying them?

MeToo – I wonder where the photo came from? Maybe another doc or spectator?

Proof – And almost immediately after his inauguration, he snubs Great Britain.

Ingineer66 – It’s a pretty bad habit to get into.

Jon – I wonder if the docs billed the White House for services rendered?

Deanna – Unless they are giving white coats out at the town border!

And don’t forget he didn’t speak with these invited guests, he spoke at them. No questions were allowed. None. Nada. Zip.
