Personally, I think the guy is a douche. You want to mess around, knock yourself out. Only an idiot would mess around with his employees. This isn’t Melrose Place, ya know!
Yet another way in which Dave is like Mark Sanford: Neither one knows when to stop talking.
Audience member Tracy Frye, of Dallas, Texas told RadarOnline.com: “David apologized to his wife and his colleagues at Worldwide Pants. He said he didn’t really think through what he said on-air last week and how it would affect his co-workers.” He also apologized because he now realized that people would speculate he was involved with women on the show with whom he had no sexual relationship.
According to Frye, “He made a direct apology to his wife and said: ‘I have a lot of work to do’. “I think he was being sincere.”
“I think he was being sincere.” So I guess this means the genius PR move of telling the world what he’d done before the papers had published a word of it wasn’t so genius? And if he was going to apologize to his wife publicly, why didn’t he do it last week? (H/T – Hot Air)
I used to like early, Late Night With David Letterman Dave. After his jump to CBS, he has become a bitter little person. You would think that someone getting that much tail would be a little more cheerful.

I imagine when you’re getting all that tail for all the wrong reasons, it is as empty as an ice rink on July 4th.

According to several different polls Republicans are happier with their sex lives than Democrats … and we all know Letterman’s a Democrat’s Democrat…so clearly quantity doesn’t trump quality.

The guy is classless. Dave deserves the same kind of empathy and forgiveness he has shown Sanford, Spitzer and others of his ilk. None. He deserves to be skewered by other late night hosts and fodder around the water coolers. He can apologize until he’s blue in the face but it doesn’t change the fact that a cheater’s a cheater and Karma is a bitch!

I used to be a David Letterman fan back in the day. But for the last few years whenever I watch it is painful. Time to retire Dave.
