Obama Poll Numbers Hit New Low

By Wyatt Earp | August 25, 2009

obama-shoesondeskWhat a difference a year makes.

All of the HopeyChangey FreeLove Obama worship we saw during the 2008 POTUS campaign has apparently packed up and left town. And it did so be walking into the sunset, since no one can afford train tickets in this economy. President Gold-bama, the man with the Midas touch, apparently can no longer turn water into Kool-Aid. After only seven months, his poll numbers are dropping faster than Kim Kardahsian’s pants.

Allahpundit delivers the bad (or, depending upon where you stand on the aisle, good) news:

A 10-point drop in approval since June, shrinking The One’s s spread from 62/31 to just 52/41 now. I’m not sure how he expects to rebound, either. In all likelihood he’ll end up with a watered-down health-care bill that pleases no one; meanwhile, he has to deal with Holder’s divisive crusade against the CIA, the possibility of a double-dip recession, escalation of a war in Afghanistan whose support is crumbling, and of course the bombshell that’s set to burst officially tomorrow about another $2 trillion being added to the White House’s deficit projections.

Another $2 trillion? Cripes, can’t we impeach the guy for that?

OUCH!

OUCH!

To say these numbers are not good for the president is the understatement of the year. The man is in deep trouble, and even his vaunted media machine won’t help him now. If he’s smart, he’ll abandon the ObamaCare nonsense and reign in the ridiculous spending. He won’t, of course, but that’s what he should do – especially if he doesn’t want to be a one-term POTUS.

Oh, and notice the numbers for Americans 65 years and older. Apparently, they are not exactly on board with ObamaCare. Go figure.

Shit! Don’t tell him how to be a success, we’ll have him for two terms if he drops Health care like the Clinton’s did. MUD

On Aug.21st, Bobby Gibbs stated that “I have heard the president say that, if making tough decisions in getting important things done that Washington has failed to deal with for decades means he only lives in this house and makes these decisions for four years, he’s quite comfortable with that.” Not sure we can undo all the harm he wants to impose on this country in those 4 long years. I hope “we the people” put an end to his healthcare reform and cap and tax. Geez, they can’t even forcast the deficit within 2 trillion! Sounds like they need a new abacus!

Disagree, Dennis. He still has cap and tax, card check and a whole other bunch of fascist goodies ready to ram up our rears. The conservatives need to retake Congress in 2010, pure and simple, to keep him under control the way Newt did in 1994. Then, the conservatives need to remember that they came from outside the Beltway and not fall into the DC games that DeLay and Co. did when Newt left.

“other bunch of fascist goodies ”

I thought he was a Marxist. Yuse guys have to get you “-ists” straight.

Marxist/Fascist? The big 0 seems to be both. Not much of a problem since both have ‘socialist’ roots and statist goals.

Randal, you troll, don’t you know that fascism and Marxism are two sides of the same coin? There wasn’t tupp’orth of difference between Hitler and Stalin.

I think I Know enough about fascism and Marxism, thank you. I also know that your type of people like to use these scare-tactic buzzwords to your advantage. You’d probably call him a Grand Wizard too if he was white.

Dennis – He won’t take my advice. That’s the beauty of it.

MeToo – Or more fingers and toes.

Bob – If the GOP gains control and fraks it up like they did the last eight years, I’m registering as a member of the Green Party.

Randal – you know my stance on that. He’s neither. His policies border on socialism, but that’s all.

Rachelle – I have to disagree with you. I don’t like the man, either, and I think he has been a terrible president so far, but he’s not a Marxist or a Fascist.

Bohemond – Please only equate Obama to Hitler or Stalin if he starts killing people. Thanks much.

    Randal – Well, he’s a Half-Grand Wizard! Heh.
