Joe Biden: Tour De Dunce

By Wyatt Earp | July 7, 2009

Joe Biden IdiotYou almost have to feel sorry for Barack Obama. The guy realized he had no experience for the job of POTUS, so he shored up his administration by picking a vice-president with foreign policy gravitas.

Unfortunately for him, that person was Joe Biden.

In the weeks and months since that fateful day, Obama and his staff have had to rephrase, correct, or apologize for things that Biden has said and done. Of course, this is all Obama’s fault for picking an idiot. To wit:

Rarely has any administration had to spend as much time issuing public corrections to statements made by a Vice President as the Obama administration. In fact, the White House has probably spent less time contradicting Dick Cheney than its own Veep, Joe Biden. Late yesterday, the Obama administration disavowed Biden’s apparent green light to Israel for an attack on Iran:

The Obama administration poured cold water Monday on any notion it is giving Israel the green light to attack Iran or that it is reconsidering plans to engage diplomatically with the Islamic republic.

Vice President Joe Biden said in an interview broadcast Sunday that the United States would not stand in the way of Israel in its dealings with Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

But State Department spokesman Ian Kelly rebuffed suggestions from reporters that Biden could be seen as giving the Jewish state a green light to attack Iran, which it views as an existential threat.

Look, everyone knows that the U.S. – even under HopeyChange Barack Obama – would probably look the other way if Israel attacked Iran. That’s not the point here. It’s like when Biden revelaed the secret location of the VP Bunker: everyone knows about it . . . you just don’t say it!

Good job, Joe. You’re making Dan Quayle look better every day.

Dan Quayle – Come back! America needs someone with a brain in the VP seat!

    Jon – Now that’s funny!

RT – Or not tight enough. He is terrific blog fodder, though. Freakin’ moron.

Actually, picking biden in my humble op, was a smart move. It assures the anointed one is’nt going to suddenly do a kennedy. Think of how much more we would all be in the crap if Biden was in the oval office?

TBB – And it makes Obama look oh so smarter.

Alan B – Yeah, good point.

Snigs – At least, unlike Gore, he has a personality. A bad one, but one nonetheless.

MeToo – I’d rather not get that close to the man.

Admiral – We should have them secede from the union.
