Since you seem to think you know what’s in our minds here in California, I’ll correct you. It isn’t about Arnold. The guy is herding cats. While he thought it would be easy, it isn’t. He has little true power. The other politicians are the real danger, both Repubs and Dems. Dems love to make more social programs as it buys them more votes. Repubs don’t have the numbers to make a difference and some will bend their positions to get a little kickback. We Californians have had it. We finally decided it was time to say no. No, regardless of who gets hurt. It sucks to cut education, but we simply cannot afford to go on like this and I commend my fellow Californians for voting no, no, no, no, and no. No more taxes. Start cutting.

Expect something scary and unnecessary to come out of the legislature. Say, firing all the police or closing all the hospitals. That’s how they play this game. Years ago New Orleans threatened to leave dead bodies on the street because it didn’t have enough money to run the morgue. After all, you have to cut back somewhere.

The fact of the matter is this: Arnold Schwarzenegger has been an unnatural disaster as governor. And while his state legislators have been equally terrible, the buck stops at his steroid-injected, dope smoking desk.
