Can you put donuts in an IV?

I made the mistake of waking up early and attending the boys’ soccer games. Don’t get me wrong, I love the boys, but the three-hour event included a lot of walking and now I’m dizzy and sick. So, in lieu of something truly energy-draining, I wanted to mention a few things that are on my rapidly deteriorating mind.

Jim Needs A Hand. The creator and overlord of all things technical here is a little strapped. He’s having trouble staying online, and could use some support. Please help if you can.

Pam Rocks! Normally, this is the part of the week where I post my FSM article. Obviously, I was in no condition to do that this week, and my lovely and talented editor Pam was kind enough to keep my mind at ease. She assured me that it would be no problem, and said I could get back writing when I was able. She’s a good friend, and a better boss.

Congratulations to Momster! She recently earned her 5,000th visitor on the same day I was getting steel implants. Mmm . . . staples! Please stop by and congratulate her on her blogging milestone.

Friends = Happiness. I wanted to finish off this post with a special thank you to my friend Bill and my partner Doris. Both took the time out to visit me when I was sick and sat through my grumbling and nausea without complaint. Bill is one of the most decent persons I have ever known, and is usually my moral center. He’s always there to tell me when my snark goes too far. Doris is definitely the best cop I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and when she’s not defending me, she’s making fun of me in an effort to keep me laughing.
