Today is my friend Bill’s 41st birthday!
One of my very best friends (and Godfather to my son Erik) is far too modest to acknowledge it, so I figured I’d embarrass him here. He is truly a good guy who has done more for our family than most anyone else we know. The wife loves him, the kids adore him, and he’s always there when we need him.
And I have to say nice things, because I haven’t bought his present yet.
I would throw in an “old” joke, but since I will be hitting the Big 4-0 in April, I won’t press my luck. Besides, his health is much better than mine – especially after this year! So, if you would, please join me in wishing Bill a happy birthday, and if you’re a single gal looking for a nice guy, send me an e-mail . . . um, and I’ll forward it to him. You know, because I’m already married and such. Heh.
