I don’t know what to say. I’d hope that the citizenry, elected leaders, and Philadelphia PD leadership will “go to the mattresses” and start talking about eradicating the culture that allows this type of evil to thrive and changing the rules of engagement.

But I’m not optimistic.

I’ll keep Officer MacDonald, his family, you, and your brothers in law enforcement in my prayers.

We are in a culture war folks.

Political correctness and the culture of catering to professional victims of identity politics, in our judicial system, to rationalize B.S. psychobabble criteria, is now responsible for killing our peace officers on a regular schedule.

Wyatt, you know how much I love and respect all you Philly cops. My deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to the family, friends and fellow officers. This is another sad day for the people of Philadelphia and the Police that patrol the once great city.

I watched briefly on the news this evening the report of what happened. I see that the criminals are no longer afraid of the Police and under the last few administrations including this new regime things have seemed to have gotten worse. There is now no question that the theory of having fewer police is a miserable failure and a wrong headed approach. The Philadelphia Police has to strengthened, they have to be supported by the city administration and it may be time to start the search for a new Police commissioner with new rules of engagement on the street.

I cried about that young man tonight and my heart aches for all of you men and women that Protect and Serve. God Bless all of you Wyatt.
